What type of materials do you use to create your designs?
A very good question! Here at JBUG Jewelry we use only Sterling Silver, 14K Gold-Filled, Vermeil and Fine Silver metal and findings. The fine silver we use comes from a fairly new material we use called Precious Metal Clay. It is an eco-friendly product made from recycled silver and amazing to work with! We also strive on using fine quality precious and semi-precious stones in our work. We design with purpose, intention and intuition to provide a piece that will give the wearer not only the benefits of the healing properties of the gems used but also convey the message of love that was put into the work.
We make every effort to research our vendors and purchase from those that offer Fair Trade certified materials and supplies. We believe in karma and as you all know “what comes around, goes around”.
What are findings?
Findings are all those cute little “extras” used in finishing your items such as clasps, rings, wire, pins, tags, etc.,
What is Hand Stamping?
We individually hand stamp each piece, letter by letter, number by number. No two items are ever exactly the same which adds to the uniqueness of the item! Of course, our human hands are stamping each letter, therefore occasionally the lettering does not always come out perfectly straight, but if this is the way the piece is intended to be, then so be it! It adds to the piece’s charm and whimsy and who doesn’t love a little whimsy?? All hand stamped pieces are oxidized to darken and define the lettering and then polished by hand.
How do I care for my JBUG Jewelry?
We say use common sense here. If you would like your jewelry to stand the test of time and the elements then you need to care of it.
An easy way to remember is the rule: Last on, First Off. After you are dressed, perfumed and ready to head out and face the world, put your jewelry on last to avoid damaging it with oils, perfumes, make-up, etc.,
Before you are ready to start your bed-time rituals such as showering, make-up removal, face creams, etc., remove your jewelry first for the same reasons.
Always remove your jewelry before you go swimming, exercise, bathe, use cleaning supplies, etc.,
With normal wear and exposure to air, Sterling, Fine silver, Vermeil and Gold-filled metals will eventually tarnish. To prevent oxidation, it’s always a good idea to store your jewelry in a fabric pouch or plastic bag. If and when tarnish does develop, simply clean your items with a silver polishing cloth, try to avoid harsh, abrasive cleaners as they can affect the look of your metal and also, in some cases, damage your gemstones. Try not to store your jewelry in places with high humidity (like a bathroom) as this will affect its look over time. Find a nice dry, flat place to store all your beautiful jewelry items and you will be able to enjoy them for a lifetime- maybe even pass some down as heirlooms!!

We strive to create unique items and we absolutely LOVE custom orders, in fact that is the bulk of our work! This is when the creative juices really get to flow! We know everyone strives to be original. No one likes looking over to find the person next to them wearing the same blouse, dress, shoes, etc., Why would that not apply to your jewelry?? Shipping Information
When will I receive my JBUG Jewelry?
All items are made to order so they will usually take 2-3 weeks to complete. If you need your item(s) sooner please use this CONTACT US link and send us over an email with your request. In most cases we can overnight or rush an item to you for an additional charge. We want you to start wearing your JBUG Jewelry as soon as possible so we will make every effort to get your items to you as soon as they are completed.
We use USPS 2-3 day service to ship all of our items within the US for a flat rate of $7.00 (shipping and handling). This includes tracking (via PayPal) and insurance for your items.

What if I would like my item shipped to a different address?
Orders will be shipped to the address you have listed with PayPal. If you are ordering an item as a gift and would like it shipped to a different address, please Contact Us as soon as possible and we will handle the rest!
Returns/Warranty Information
What if I’m not happy with my item when it arrives?
WHAT?!??!? If you’re NOT happy then we’re not happy. We want you to absolutely LOVE your custom jewelry and if you do not, please Contact Us within 3 days of receiving your order. Returns and exchanges may be issued on bracelets, earrings, and necklaces, provided that the item is returned in its original packaging, in undamaged, unworn condition. Shipping fees are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once we receive your item a credit can be issued back to you via PayPal.
Please Note: Custom/Personalized pieces cannot be returned/exchanged as they cannot be re-sold. Please keep this in mind when ordering a custom or personalized piece.
I love my JBUG item but my clasp broke, I lost an earring, etc., etc., …now what?
We are happy to cover any “mishaps” because we know they do occur. Again, there is a theme here, and it is that “WE WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY” with your JBUG items. Please Contact Us and we will make every effort to repair your item in a timely fashion. Additional charges may apply for shipping and materials required for repairing your item. The labor is FREE!

How do I pay for my JBUG items?
Through our online shopping cart we will gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments through PayPal.
How safe is it to order online from JBUG Jewelry?
JBUG Jewelry Designs uses PayPal for all payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Do I need to have a PayPal account to purchase my JBUG Jewelry?
Nope! You are not required to do anything you do not want to do, INCLUDING opening a PayPal account. In the event you already have a PayPal account then by all means USE it and Order!!
NOTE TO FLORIDA RESIDENTS: Please note that orders shipped to addresses in Florida will require sales tax payment of 7%. The sales tax will automatically be added on by PayPal.

We make every effort to photograph and describe our jewelry so that when you receive your JBUG Jewelry it will match what you viewed on our website! Of course, please be aware that colors may slightly vary based on individual computer monitors. If you’re in doubt, please do not hesitate to Contact Us for additional information about an item.
